Just wanted a pint, didn't expect a fuss. Concerned with the problems of 'hoodies' the pub has instigated a 'no hats' rule. There doesn't appear to be any application of common sense by the staff. I visited the pub with my wife on a Sunday afternoon and was effectively told that I had to take my hat off or they may not serve me. As a 41 year old primary school teacher I honestly thought the chap behind the bar was joking. Apparently not! I hated being labelled as a potential trouble maker because I was wearing a hat!
