Fantastic real ales, a warm welcome assured and some of the best food I have ever tasted from a pub kitchen. This pub was CAMRA pub of the season for spring 2007 and the award was well deserved. They have added a spendid smoking area to the front of the pub, with heating so sitting out until 11pm even in winter is possible. They also have live folk bands every weekend.
